CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Large perennial with pungently-scented dark green leaves. Small velvety brick-red flowers on long spikes in late summer and autumn. Best in sun or semi-shade in well-drained soil with some protection from harsh frosts. Cut back after flowering. Semi-evergreen.
